Topic

With the release of SharePoint 2010 the topic of data migration from previous versions and other systems is next one on the table.
In this session:
Metalogix will provide an overview of our migration and upgrade solutions for SharePoint 2010. The presentation will address upgrade scenarios from WSSv2/WSSv3/SPS2003/MOSS2007 to SharePoint 2010 including granular and partial migrations, re-structuring of list, library and site content during migration and how Metalogix SharePoint Site Migration Manager can enable organizations to take advantage of new features and templates in SharePoint 2010.

About the presenter

Rasool is a co-founder and Director of Metalogix Software, focused on new business and product development initiatives. He was responsible for building the Metalogix brand and established the company as a premiere Microsoft Gold ISV partner, working closely with both the Microsoft collaboration and technical sales teams. An experienced presenter and technology evangelist, Rasool's presentation credits include Microsoft TechEd, Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference and Microsoft General Briefing. Prior to Metalogix, Rasool worked in sales and human resources roles with Mindquake Software, a pioneering internet software consultancy. He was also a Program Manager at SHL SystemHouse, where he was responsible for delivery of Microsoft training services and programs. Rasool holds a B.A. from the University of British Columbia
